On the creation of Stella: “The creators [Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith] hung out with me a few times to get a sense of how I talk and act, and they kind of created the character around me. It’s a lot more work, but I like having the weight of the world on my shoulders.”
On her hopes for the show: “[PLL fans] almost dictated story lines. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a bit much. I’m hoping people can accept Life Sentence for what it is—and not necessarily want to control it”.
