Elle Fanning began work on her new film, Teen Spirit, today, July 7. The young actress shared the exciting news via her Instagram earlier today.

In this new film, ” a shy Eastern European teen dreams of pop stardom to escape her small town and shattered family life. With the help of an unlikely mentor, Violet (Fanning) enters an international singing competition that will test her integrity, talent and ambition.”

Elle’s new film is expected to hit theaters next year!
