Yara Shahidi to Make Regular Appearances on “black-ish” Next Season

black-ish fans can give a sigh of release, Yara Shahidi will still be a part of the show next season. The young actress will be making regular appearances on the hit ABC comedy as she films episodes for her new series, college-ish.

A spin-off of black-ish, college-ish will show off Zoey’s (Shahidi) college life at fictional Cal U LA. However, Zoey will not be the only character jumping back and forth between shows. black-ish and college-ish creator Kenya Barris revealed to Buzzfeed news, “[Zoey]’s gonna start off on Black-ish, and then she will go to her show, and then she will be back and forth, and there will be some back-and-forth on [Bow and Dre’s] part, too. It’s just like any kid where they’re going to school in town.”

Production on Yara’s new show will begin within the next few weeks. I can’t wait to see how this all pans out on the shows! Are you guys excited?
