Freeform Officially Picks-Up black-ish Spin-Off starring Yara Shahidi

The black-ish spin-off has officially been picked up by Freeform. Starring Yara Shahidi, the show is called, college-ish and it will be 13 episodes long.

The show was initially being shopped at ABC, but it was moved to Freeform because it seemed better suited for that network’s demographic. The series will focus on Yara’s black-ish character, Zoey as she starts college. She will be joined in the show by Deon Cole, who plays Charles on black-ish.

I am so happy Freeform decided to pick this show up!
