ADVANCE PREVIEW: Young & Hungry “Young & Punch Card” Good Kick Off to Season 5

Tonight, March 13, Freeform will air the Season 5 premiere of Young & Hungry. The episode is called, “Young & Punch Card” and it follows Gabi and Josh as they try to navigate their new “friends with benefits” status. While these two are dealing with their new status, Yolanda and Elliot are trying to cover up Yolanda’s scheming and Sofia is preparing for dinner with her crush, Kendrick.

For a premiere episode, it does a good job setting up Josh and Gabi’s storyline this season, but it stays mum on the other characters’ season-long arcs. Hopefully, we get more information on their arcs over the next few episodes. However, this episodes does provide a lot of laughs and some great ensemble moments. Aimee Carrero, particularly does a great job in this episode. She has a couple of one liners that are really funny and she and Emily Osment’s scenes in their apartment are some of the best scenes in the episode.

After four seasons on the air, this show shows no signs of slowing down. No matter who you have in a scene together they knock it out of the park, so make sure you tune in for tonight’s premiere. You are in for a treat!
