Fans Band Together to Save Girl Meets World
Earlier this month, it was announced that Disney Channel would not be renewing Girl Meets World for a fourth season. Fans immediately began reaching out to Netflix in hopes that the show would be picked up the streaming site like it has done with other shows in the past.
Using the #SaveGMW, dedicated fans have urged others to help them in their fight to save the show. Fans also have created a petition to save it, while other fans have reached out to Disney and Netflix by phone and email asking Disney to give up their rights to the show and asking Netflix to pick it up. They have also suggested the show on the Netflix suggestions page.
If you would like to join fellow fans in their fight to save the show you can sign the petition here or head over to Netflix suggestion site and put in “Girl Meets World Netflix Original” in the suggestion boxes. For all those wanting to email and call, we don’t recommend doing that, but if you do, BE NICE.
There is still a lot of story left to tell with these characters, so hopefully all of the fans’ hard work pays off.
