Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Dakota Fanning, And Hailee Steinfeld Wow In New Issue Of W Magazine

Emma Stone is on the cover of the February issue of W Magazine. Emma is joined by Andrew Garfield, Hailee Steinfeld, and Dakota Fanning in this issue titled “The Year’s Best Performances”.

In the magazine, Andrew, Hailee, and Dakota are all featured due to their outstanding performances in films such as Hacksaw Ridge, The Edge Of Seventeen, and American Pastoral. Emma, who is joined on the cover issue by Casey Affleck, is in the issue because of her stellar performance in La La Land.

Emma spoke briefly with the magazine about her audition for the musical stating, “Well, Damien [Chazelle, the director] came to see me when I was doing Cabaret, and he saw me on a night that I was on a lot of cold medicine, which was a lot of nights because I was sick a lot during the run. And, I didn’t know that he had come with the composer, Justin Hurwitz. After the fact I heard he had seen it and I was really upset, because I was like I don’t think I was even in my body for that entire show. I think that was my unofficial audition for La La Land, without knowing it.”
