Tom Holland & Zendaya Cover The Hollywood Reporter

November 9, 2016 - Author: admin - Comments are closed

Tom Holland and Zendaya are on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter. The young actors are on the cover to promote their new film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. Highlights are below.

Tom on finding out he was playing Spider-Man: “I was in my bed scrolling through Instagram. It had been about a month since my audition. And Marvel just posted a photo saying go to our website and find out who the next Spider-Man is. I went on the Marvel website on my computer and there it was: The new Spider-Man is Tom Holland. I went ballistic, like absolutely nuts.”

Zendaya on the reaction to her apparently playing an African-American Mary Jane Watson: “People are going to react over anything. But nothing [about who she is playing] is fact. It’s like, you guys are just making shit up at this point and then reacting to it. Whenever we were on set, one of us gets some random character name [on the call sheet]. [Bloggers were] like, ‘Oh they must be so and so.’ And we just crack up about it, because it’s like, ‘Whatever you want to think. You’ll find out.’ It’s funny to watch the guessing game.”
