Behind the scenes photos from the first week of filming for ABC Family’s new TV show, Shadowhunters have been released. Filming in Toronto, the show is based off the best selling series, The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.

Starring Kat McNamara as Clary and Dominic Sherwood as Jace, the first episode, and the episode they are currently filming, of the series is called, “The Mortal Cup”. The show is set to premiere on ABC Family this coming Winter.

I love how involved this cast and crew is with social media! They are doing a fantastic job keeping fans updated on the show’s progress and these behind the scenes photos are great!

I can’t wait to see the first footage from the show.
