Starts Making Sense

Guillermo del Toro has dropped out of directing Emma Watson’s new project Beauty and the Beast. Emma signed on to play the lead role in Warner Brothers live action version of the fairy tale classic back in 2012.

Unfortunately, the project has yet to make it out of production phase due to del Toro’s busy schedule. Now it would seem that the esteemed director has taken his schedule into consideration and has decided to forgo directing the film to instead act as a producer.

I would have loved to see Guillermo del Toro direct this film, but it is nice to see that he is still attached in some way. Hopefully, this means that WB has plans to get this off the ground as quickly as possible.
