Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami, FL early this morning, January 23. The singer was taken into police custody after being caught drag racing and apparently driving under the influence.

“Bieber, 19, was also reportedly booked shortly after 4 a.m. for driving under the influence, though it is unclear whether he had been intoxicated or under the influence of a substance.”

The star apparently failed a sobriety test and was arrested at the scene. Above, you will find a photo of the cars caught drag racing. Justin was apparently driving the yellow Lamborghini.

UPDATE:  According to TMZ, Justin was also booked for resisting arrest without violence (for failing to take his hands out of his pockets when ordered by the police) and driving on an expired license.

Justin was allegedly racing his friend Khalil who was behind the wheel of the red car. Justin was joined by a model, Chantal in his car and his team apparently “actually blocked the street off so Bieber could drag race”.

The Miami Herald also states “Bieber told officers that he had a beer, was under the influence of anti-depressants and had been smoking marijuana all day, according to police sources”. Justin is currently being held at the Miami Beach Police Department.
