Gonna Lose Control

Girl Meets World star Rowan Blanchard has found her best friend. Sabrina Carpenter will play Maya Fox, Riley Matthews best friend on the Boy Meets World sequel.

TVLine is reporting, “Disney execs were first impressed by Carpenter when she was cast in the ill-fated Disney XD pilot, Gulliver Quinn, with Jon Heder. Disney later hired her as the voice of a princess in the animated Disney Junior hit Sofia The First.”

Filming for the pilot is said to begin in February and if picked up will premiere on the Disney Channel in the 2013-2014 line-up.
