Daniel Radcliffe spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about his new miniseries, Playhouse Presents….A Young Doctor’s Notebook. Highlights can be found below.

On wanting to do a comedy: “I watch mostly comedy. I definitely wanted to do something that’s funny. But episodes three and four also get really dark and sad.”

On working with costar, Jon Hamm: “He’s one of the best. He is really funny and incredibly personable. The thing I haven’t heard people say is he is also one of the best technical actors.”

On being a fan of Russian author Mikhail Bulgakov: “I am sort of an obsessive Bulgakov fan.”
