Hailee Steinfeld is in talks to play the lead role in the remake of the 1976 classic, Carrie.
The horror film, originally starring Sissy Spacek, is about “a mousy and abused girl with telekinetic powers gets pushed too far on one special night”. If Hailee were to star in the film she would play the lead role of Carrie.
No word on whether or not the film will ever see the light of day, but Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who wrote Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, has been hired to write the screenplay so I am guessing it is a go.
What are your thoughts on Hailee playing Carrie??
