I’ll Be Holding On Tight

The 2011 Costume Institute Gala, held at The Metropolitan Museum Of Art, took place this evening, May 2 in New York City. This year’s theme for the event was in honor of the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen.

The event was titled, “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” and some of our favorite young actresses stepped out to honor this amazing designer.

Taylor Swift wore a beige and  J. Mendel gown, with pulled back do. Personally, not a fan of Taylor’s dress or hair. I do think her make-up looks good. She is definitely one of the few artist who can pull off the red lips.

Ashley Greene looked stunning in a Donna Karen strapless gown. Love Ashley’s hair and make-up as well. The side bun really allows you to take in all of the dress without being distracted.

Kristen Stewart attended the event wearing a dress designed by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. I really like this dress. It is very simple, but elegant at the time. Also, Kristen looks great in it!

Dakota Fanning, Lea Michele, and Dianna Agron also attended the event! All the girls looked lovely. Elle Fanning also attended tonight’s events. Not a big fan of her outift, but I do want a photo of her and Dakota together!

Emma Stone was big miss for me, too. There isn’t really anything about her ensemble that I enjoyed. Hailee Steinfeld also attended and I really like her ensemble. I would never wear it personally, but she does look goregous!

  1. Nice pics, very fashionable. I like party wear and the long gowns.
