Demi Lovato met with several young girls at the Seventeen magazine offices recently to discuss her new partnership with the Jed Foundation and the “Love is louder than the pressure to be perfect”.
Demi spoke candidly with Seventeen about her recent time in treatment. She said, “I basically had a nervous breakdown. I was really bad off.
My parents and manager pulled me aside and said, ‘You need to get some help.’ It was an intervention. I wanted freedom from the inner demons. I wanted to start my life over.”
