Selena Gomez is set to star in a new movie! Selena will star in 13 Reasons Why, based on a novel by Jay Asher.
Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment will produce along with Selena/her mother Mandy’s production company, July Moon productions.
The film is based on a California high school student who finds a box on his front step with 13 tapes in it from his high school crush who recently committed suicide, Hannah Baker (Selena’s character).
“The tapes explain to 13 people how they played a role in her death” and are passed from the young man to the other 13 people like a chain letter.
This sounds so cool! I can’t wait til we learn more information! Selena will be great in this!

I’ve read this book. It is….amazing. Litterally one of the best books out there.
I almost don’t want them to make it into a movie. Dear lord, please don’t ruin it.
